We were in the area visiting a farmers market and a half price books, the book store was better. After this foodies must refuel and maybe try another new eatery. Pho Dien 1960 had rave reviews and this will be another one. They have a small, medium and large version of their stellar pho. My wife enjoyed and shared a small bowl of chicken pho ga with rice and noodles. I need to see if I can get a small bowl next time and steal some of the broth, dipping my pork banh mi into the pho broth makes a tasty Sammy even better...and I don't drip as much across the table. We also shared a couple fried egg rolls. I had a fried egg added to my pork banh mi. I also enjoyed a Vietnamese iced coffee. Friendly people and great food.
I picked up a large pho as I finally had a craving for pho during a reasonable hour. I like how they offered to pre cook my meat before I picked it up but I opted for cooking it myself. I do like that they asked! When I showed up, the place looked full, which is always good to see. I didn't wait long to get my food, and the gentleman at the register was very friendly. He noticed that I grabbed a menu from the counter and he gave me an updated one. Upon arriving home I was very pleased with the packaging for the ingredients, very well done and the portion for the large size was worth it. Nice clean broth, fresh herbs and vegetables, delicious meat. Thanks for a nice dinner folks.
Service was great with various dishes to offer on the menu. Their beef noodle soup is one of the best in Houston.
Great Tea, Great Pho, overall a good experience! Service was pretty good as well. Loved the colors and overall quietness to the restaurant.
This place makes me feel cheated at my go-to place at home for having to pay for half the portion and the quality of pho.
The pho was outstanding I am use to more veggies but the broth made up for that The egg rolls were hot and delicious Very pleased with the experience
Ordered dine in...got an emergency call... changed order to take out...servers were slow but helpful. Enjoyed spring rolls - got and tasty as to go order was being made. Went home and had a great bowl of pho..family enjoyed..all of the sides were there. We will return.
Writing this review makes me wanna go there again... that should say it all. The broth is so good and flavorful, the customer service is amazing, and the place is clean. I ordered the small bowl... it was filling... but I'm telling you to get the big bowl, load it up with the fresh sides they give you... I also suggest tucking your napkin in your shirt. I got the egg rolls as well... hot and crispy. Everything so good!
